Sumy, Ukraine Rural School Support

Volunteers for Ukraine is supporting the purchase and delivery of STEM and English Language educational equipment to create a learning laboratory for students in a threatened frontline community in the Sumy, Ukraine area. Constant security threats from drones and artillery, interruptions to the educational process, population displacement, and limited local financial resources create significant challenges in ensuring access to modern and high-quality education for the children in this community. This laboratory would allow students to improve their English communication skills, develop digital competencies, participate in online educational initiatives, and gain practical IT knowledge essential for their future professional opportunities. Just as importantly, this educational support would enable the students to remain in the area and strengthen their community.
